Forum Closure

I'll cut to the chase - the Forum will be deactivated 1 week from today, on September 23, 2025.

There's a few reasons for this, but mainly due to Wix's cantankerousness.

A few months ago I made a post about Wix changing from "Forums" to "Groups" - as of October 15, 2025 Wix will automatically deactivate Forum functionality, and on March 1, 2026 it will be completely removed.

I've given the Groups setup a few tries, but it is totally unworkable. Wix has never been particularly stable or user friendly, either on the member side or the admin side, to be honest, but the compulsory Groups migration is just a step too far. Wouldn't have been too bad if it was an easy and seamless changeover, but it absolutely is not, and the Groups interface is terrible, anyway.

I've trialed a few other options, but nothing fit my requirements.

So if there's anything you would like to save from the site - photos, reviews, historical info, etc, do so before 9/23/25.

I plan to keep the YouTube channel up, though the name will change when the Forum is deactivated - to what I'm not sure, but the content will remain similar to what's there currently.
