That triple shot rocks- a lot of good info there - the color on that Volvo is uh well different lol 😝 it makes one wonder how a company comes to choose their fleet color 🧐
Now's the time, the time is now... for another random round.😁
Ramblin' on into the first spot today, a nice little Freightliner Cascadia for Virginia Textile Service, who are headquartered in Petersburg, Virginia.
A triple shot: a nice International LT for Crete Carrier Corporation, whose headquarters are in Lincoln, Nebraska; a typically spiffy Freightliner Cascadia fot UPS, who're headquartered in Sandy Springs, Georgia; and a neat Freightliner Columbia rollback.
Next, a very sharp Kenworth T800.
A nice Volvo VNL for Eagle Express Lines, who are headquartered in Homewood, Illinois.
The Oshkosh appears to be a crane/lift. Looks like a stabilizer leg in front of rear tires. And it’s a round disk just behind front tires that is probably the foot for the leg.
On a rainy spring evening, it feels like a good time for another random round.
First in the lineup today, a sharp Pete 379 for Livengood Trucking from Pinnacle, North Carolina.
Next, we have a nice Kenworth T600.
A Kenworth T680 for Universal Forest Products, who are headquartered in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, hauling a hefty load of what looks like trusses. I believe this particular rig is based at their Burlington, North Carolina facility.
A sharp Peterbilt 379 with a very nice looking trailer for RJG Operations from McLeansville, North Carolina.
*Stupid Jeep.🙄
And finishing off today's round, a cool International HX for Miller Pipeline, who're headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Next, another Peterbilt 379, this one a particularly sharp example.
I had actually seen this rig earlier in the day loaded with what looked like decorative rocks.
A nice looking Freightliner Cascadia for Averitt Express, who are headquartered in Cookeville, Tennessee.
A sharp Kenworth W900L for D&L Fleck Agri Services from Maria Stein, Ohio.
I thought that was an interesting name for that town, so I checked out the history, which the short version is: the town is most likely named for a Benedictine abbey called Mariastein Abbey in Switzerland. A Father Brunner attended the abbey and went on to establish the "Missionaries of the Precious Blood" order, who provide priests for the St. John's Church in Maria Stein, OH. The Ohio Maria Stein convent's name also may derive from a painting called "Miraculous Madonna of Mariastein", which Brunner donated to the Maria Stein Convent in Ohio.
That's basically worthless trivia, but I'm a fan of history, so I thought it was pretty interesting.
And lastly, a cool Freightliner Cascadia.
This is the first time I've EVER seen a tri-axle Cascadia in my travels. Nice looking rig, though unfortunately I couldn't ID it.
EDIT: I finally figured out what company it is; OAR Trucking from Easton, Illinois.
Cool night shot

First up, a sharp Peterbilt 379.
A Freightliner Cascadia for Ward Transport & Logistics, who are headquartered in Altoona, Pennsylvania.
Nothing too interesting, just don't see many Ward rigs in my neck of the woods.
A cool Kenworth T800 for Superior Walls, whose headquarters are in New Holland, Pennsylvania.
Pretty rare to see twin-steers around here.
A beefy Terex FDB6000 for Forsyth Redi Mix, from Rural Hall, North Carolina.
And a sharp International 9900 for CRST, who are headquartered in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Notice that the area surrounding the headlights and turn signals is painted black, which on most 9900s is chrome. Interesting customization there.
