Another weekend, another 20 pack, as usual.
Some decent variety in this round, so let's get started.
First, a fairly tired Freightliner FL112.
Better watch that canopy arm there driver, it's liable to snag something.
A fairly uncommon International 8200, this one working for Wicker Services from Burlington, North Carolina.
Wicker has a decent sized fleet of these, and, from my observations, have typically run Internationals of varying models over the years.
A Ford F-750.
A Freightliner Coronado.
Every time I see these "Crowley" containers, Ozzy Osbourne's "Mr. Crowley" plays in my mind.😆
A big Freightliner Cascadia for Southern Pride Trucking, who're headquartered in San Diego, California.
I was not expecting this kind of truck in this area at all (I was set up to catch something else) and this is the best shot I could get.
Also, if memory serves right, he didn't make the turn, and had to back up in the intersection and have another go. The mixed blessings of a big bunk, huh?
A sharp Sutphen Monarch for the Mebane (NC) Fire Department.
Sporting a paint scheme similar, by chance, to the Mebane FD's rig, we have a mighty fine looking Ford F-750 for Battleground Wrecker from Burlington, NC.
As mentioned in the Cascadia blurb above, this is what I was set up to catch.
A sharp Kenworth W900L.
A Kenworth T880.
A pretty tired, but still cool, Ford Aeromax.
It would be interesting if someone built a scale model of one of these, and "aero" trucks of similar vintage, and put them through a wind tunnel test to see how aerodynamic they actually are.
An interesting Ford L9000.
Note the body - an old cut down Carolina Freight trailer.
A fairly bare-bones International 9900 for Sundown Motor Express from Winston-Salem, NC.
A Peterbilt 357 for DHG Trucking from Greensboro, NC.
Another PACCAR dump, this time a Kenworth T880 for Hilco Transport, who're headquartered in Greensboro, NC.
A fairly nice Sterling L7500.
A Ford F-550.
A Mack Pinnacle for ABC Supply, whose headquarters are in Beloit, Wisconsin.
A nice Kenworth T600 for Just-Kris Distributing from Asheboro, NC.
A White/GMC WIA.
And lastly, a cool older Kenworth W900B for Tim Whitley Hauling from Asheboro, NC.
That's all folks!
Thanks for looking, and have a great upcoming week!
Yes great variety in this bunch!
