The Mack/Volvo HQ, as well as the Volvo Uptime Center, is located in Greensboro, North Carolina, which is very near to where I live.
Over the years I've made several photo stops to see what types of rigs are hanging around, and here are a few of them.
First, the front of the Volvo HQ with a VHD dump.
A nice looking Volvo VNR.
A Volvo VNL lettered for Volvo Trucks.
A nifty VNL box.
The Volvo "Super Truck".
Really wish I could've gotten a better shot...
And a real oddball, a Volvo FH "Globetrotter".
I'm not sure what the actual model is.
And some shots from the Mack side of things.
First, the entry display.
Mack (and Volvo) change their respective display trucks around fairly often, these are just a few I've caught over the years.
A cool Mack Granite mixer.
This one was the display rig last October.
A Mack Anthem.
This really sharp Pinnacle was decorated for Christmas back in 2017.
A sharp Mack Titan.
A real shame they stopped making these, they really look good.
And what I believe to be the prototype Anthem.
The Mack’s are pretty good looking trucks
All are very interesting. Like to see inside their research facilities but I’m sure they would not allow cameras.
