Featuring 3 trucks from our fleet/collection today - 2 new additions and one with new paint.
First up, the first new addition; 109, a 2022 Ford F-350 4x4 tire service truck.
We bought this truck new.
Note - since these photos we've put Ford aluminum wheels on this unit.
This is what it looked like on the dealer lot.
The new paint - 118.
This is immediately after it came from the body/paint shop, so it still has some stuff to be done, such as a new bumper, some lights reinstalled, and an all around polish.
The billboard lettering on the boxes was my idea - I hate seeing any wrecker (or any for hire vehicle) where the name is only legible if you're standing right on top of it.
Also, the decal shop was way behind, and we needed the truck back, so the reflective flags are still in progress - once the decal shop gets them, they'll come to our shop and put them on. They'll go on the sleeper.
And the other "new" addition - a 1948 Ford F-6.
We picked this up on a local auction for a good price, and I can't resist the bigger Ford trucks, especially a dually, so into the collection it went.
It's not in very good shape, and is a non-runner to my knowledge, so It'll be a cool lawn ornament for now. Will it be restored? I'd certainly like to... maybe eventually.😁
I also picked up several old Wilco collectible truck toys on this auction - I may post some photos of those over in the Model Vehicles section...
Thanks for looking!
Great looking fleet!
