Established in 1975 in Green Brook, New Jersey, Ferraro Foods initially operated out of a small garage with just a single truck. The vision was to become the premier supplier to the Italian pizza trade, not only selling quality products, but also delivering premier service.
Michael Giammarino continued this vision when he took ownership in October 1985. Growing up in Brooklyn, New York, his passion for the Italian food trade began at a young age while working in a local Salumeria on 18th Avenue. When he was presented with the opportunity to own and operate his own company, Michael took the passion and knowledge he had for food and began to grow the business. He and his family moved to New Jersey, and eventually settled on a new location for the business in Edison. Through hard work, a dedicated team of associates, and an emphasis on family values and principles, Ferraro Foods quickly became recognized by local pizzerias as the most dependable and service-oriented distributor in the marketplace.
In 2002, with increasing demands, Ferraro Foods opened its 135,000 square foot headquarter facility in Piscataway, New Jersey , and two years later opened a second location in High Point, North Carolina. By 2013, Ferraro Foods completed a 55,000 square foot extension to the Piscataway facility, and opened a sister facility in Mebane, North Carolina.
Today, our state of the art fleet has grown to over 100 tractor trailers which span the eastern United States, transporting not only products designated for the Italian trade, but over 8,000 items that cater to several different concepts and restaurant establishments. However, even after 40 years, the focus and culture of the company remains unchanged. Dedicated in-house customer service staff and an active sales force in the field are individually assigned to each customer, providing a level of personalized service rarely seen in the industry.
Smith Transport Roaring Spring PA
Unique color there
The Stout is sharp, don't see too many daycab Coronados.
The Smith looks nice, too.
Good shots all around.
