The black on the hood is good idea. A white hood is rough on the eyes when its sunny. 😎
The Contrans story begins back in 1985 with the acquisition of The Eastern Trucking Division of Laidlaw Transportation Limited. Founded on a business model that supported dedication to the highest standards of service and a customer-focused approach, Contrans embarked on a mission to become one of the leading flatbed carriers in the trucking industry across Canada and the U.S.
Over the next 15 years, the company expanded with the acquisition of partnering flatbed and dry bulk operations including Floyd Dunford Limited in 1988 and The Brookville Group in 1997. This widespread growth in operation assets and our fleet lead to an increased development in terminals across North America, allowing Contrans to provide a more extensive range of transportation solutions to its accumulative clientele.
In the early 2000s, Contrans amalgamation of reputable operation assets expanded further with the acquisition of Tri-Line Freight Systems in 2002 and Olinyk Trucking Limited in 2004. Guided by a strong entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to the continuous improvement of freight carrier services, in 2005, we successfully acquired L.A. Dalton Systems Incorporated and Hopefield Trucking Limited, followed by General Freight Carriers Incorporated in 2006.
That's a nice looking rig, looks like the driver has put some effort into tricking out his ride. Cool catch.
