I've been spending quite a bit of time hunting good plane spotting locations, and have been pretty successful, so hopefully this part of TPF will get a little more lively!
First today, a classy Embrae ERJ-135 that was built in 2001. It belongs to Contour Airlines, who're headquartered in Smyrna, Tennessee.
A ... something-or-other for Delta Air Lines, whose headquarters are in Atlanta, Georgia.
No idea on the make/model here - if I can't see the full registration number on the fuselage in order to look it up (as seen here), I can't currently ID the make/model.
Jetting off on another trip, we have a sharp Airbus A319-100, built and delivered in 2004 to American Airlines, who are headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas.
Also for American, though this one is unidentifiable.
And lastly, one that came to me - a military helicopter that flew over us while train spotting.
I don't have the faintest idea on the make/model here, and I'm not too sure that digging around for info on modern military equipment is a good idea, so if anyone knows what this cool heli is, or a resource I can use to ID military vehicles, drop a comment!
